Definitely not a 10, but way too many 1 star snowflakes.
What more can you ask for in a mindless, sci fi superhero film?

Great action? Check Great CGI? Check Campy comedy? Check Decent writing? Check-ish Entertaining? Check Hellava ride? Triple check.

I'm seriously concerned about the cognitive issues all these nutters have expecting a comic book film to be some sort of Oscar worthy masterpiece. Not only that, but they cry and whine asif it was somehow a personal attack on them lol.

This is meant to be an entertaining, fun ride, a mindless, popcorn flick.

Get some munches, put your feet up and just zone out for a couple of hours and enjoy, or get some psychiatric help, whatever, nuts.

May Be Good, If You're Six Years Old
I didn't expect much from this movie, and it was worse than I expected.

Most superhero movies have been geared towards adults -- adults with childhood imaginations, but, adults, all the same. This one doesn't work for adults. This is because the story is just too ridiculous, and detatched from any sense of reality.

I recognize that this may sound silly to say about a superhero movie. However, any adult who enjoys superhero movies, will, likely, understand what I'm talking about. We may be children, at heart, but we still have brains.

If you're an adult, I see no way to enjoy this movie. All you can do is turn your brain off, and look at the flashing colors. For this reason, I can only imagine young children being capable of enjoying this film. Yet, some parents may object, because there's lots of violence.

You have a tough granny, who joins the fight, along with the rest of the untrained family. They're ordinary civilians, yet, somehow, know how to operate technologically advanced weapons. The main character was "chosen" by an intergalactic artifact, to be a superhero. Yet, nothing makes him special. The suit controls him, as a host, while he's along for the ride, kicking and screaming. In the beginning, the suit wants to kill the bad guys, but the kid says "no". Later, the kid wants to kill the bad guy, but the suit says "no". Also, we're treated with a flying, beetle, space craft, that has a "fart mode", which allows it to spray smelly gas on the bad guys. I'm not making this up. The writing's all over the place, and there's nothing serious about this movie.

If you're an adult, and you're into superhero movies, feel free to pass on this one. It has no redeeming quality. You'll be rolling your eyes, during the entire movie.

I generously give this movie two stars because I've actually seen worse. It did have a plot, and a story, but that's not saying much.

One of the worst movies I've seen
This is a horrible movie. The acting, the plot, everything is bad about this movie with the exception of the special effects. They took plot points from multiple Marvel movies, and even though they had a blueprint still screwed it up. The cast talking over each other, and I'm not talking about one or two characters. At times there are six people talking at the same time jumping from English to Spanish. I've never read any Blue Beetle comic so I'm not sure what they got right or wrong about his powers, but they didn't keep anything consistent from how he's bulletproof in one scene then he gets beaten up by a cyborg guy. I truly want my 2 hours back.
