Sea of Thieves; I liked it, but it's not great
This animation is a technical marvel. It looks uncanny with Sea of Thieves (video game)... I initially thought it was made by the studio behind Sea of Thieves and it's some sort of movie that will be used to market their new free DLCs, alas it was it's own thing.

Overall, the movie is beautiful to look at, but it's bland and too generic. It has nothing extraordinary other than the technical marvel around water dynamics, it feels like a video game.

The monsters are simplistic to the point where Red, looks like protagonist of the dragon from "How to Train your Dragon". They probably try to hit that mark.

Speaking of "How to Train your Dragon", the story is similar or at least there are parallels between the stories, the world is populated by a bunch of monsters that are actually good or misunderstood, (who would've thought).

You have the protagonist which is a child in the single digits age, also of color if anyone actually cares, that educates the main character (grown man). It tries to create a dynamic of intelligence and brawn. The white male character is not useless to the story, but his contributions are more for comic relief and when the story wants it is to act as the brawn man...

In the first part of the story, the adult main character (I forgot their names since I've seen them) does a bunch of incredible feats where he single handedly saves multiple crewmen through comedic and what would appear, downright divine level of acrobatics around a ship that seems to be keeping its stability in water, without taking water, at around a ninety degree angle, while they are fighting with a kraken-whale like green monster, which was called Green.

The crew of the beast hunters, a bunch of sailors, pirate lookalike, are a bunch a incompetents on their own, bland but quite diversified, a lot of women on the bridge of the ship, with the person that appear to be 3rd in command on the ship is a woman, of color if anyone actually cares, which seems to be a silent stoic that follows orders.

Other characters that get a few seconds of screen time and voice time are generic... actually most characters are so generic some of them I thought they were generated by the Sea of thieves character generator which was available when I played the game... anyway...

I don't want to spoil this movie or ruin it for anyone. I honestly enjoyed it for the technical marvel it is, the story was just nothing interesting. I would recommend watching this only if you have nothing to watch and you wish to spend the time with it, otherwise this can be safely skipped.
