A good introduction to Super Hero pets
Watched on Netflix, I enjoyed the movie even as a family/children targeted movie.

I do not recall many shows or movies that ever feature pets as actual super heroes. So this movie is the first in a while that goes in depth into this kind of setup.

As an adult man, this film was fun and enjoyable while being ultimately simple. The pets have their own personalities, good lessons for capability, addressing the usual tropes and so on. The action is better than expected and the animation matches up as well.

What I found interesting was how they downplayed the powerful heroes of DC. I was contemplating if this was a good move or not as it caused confusion knowing how strong they realy are. Then again, I have to remind myself this is a children/family friendly movie and the pets are the main characters.

No issues besides downplaying the DC super heroes, besides that its a fun watch.

    Creative and entertaining
There have been several superhero films within the last decade but very few animated superhero films which focuses on their pets. This film succeeds as entertainment for both adults and children. The comedy is fairly tame as one would expect but it is still intriguing.

The cast works well, with a well known group of actors and actresses providing their voices.

Unique set of characters will make audiences have fan favorites. Although the story isn't exactly unique or too complex, the chemistry and differences of the pets make it work while. The guinea pig of Lulu was a highlight.

There is a very end post ending credit scene (last 30 seconds) teasing a sequel, however considering this film was apparently a box office flop. It's a shame we may not see a sequel.

Way too violent and meaningless .. dumb plot line
Embarrassed to have brought my 3 young children to such violent Godless zero-morals nonsense! When we saw others heard 2 of them say it was loud and crazy. When will the movie industry respect Christian principles and make movies that have meaning and a wholesome message? When will they make movies that children can grow and learn important truths and lessons from? Maybe learn anything from? Entertaining them with idiocy and craziness with no redeeming value is a sad legacy.

Hollywood has become an encourager of violence, meaninglessness, lack of morals, manners, and good character. It's time to change this horrific trend.

    Another Underdog
What the DCEU needs now: a parody. Well, of sorts.

Finally! I can see this. Been waiting like a month since it came to HBOMax. I generally choose to only watch horror in October, and now that it's November...I regret I waited. I loved this. WAY more than I had expected. Granted, my expectations were neither high nor low.

In a twist, Superman has a partner in this universe and that's his dog, Krypto. Unfortunately, Krypto's rather jealous of Lois, but forget all that. When Superman & the Gang are kidnapped, Krypto's gonna put his paw down and make his own animated version of Cats & Dogs.

For the most part, this is all-ages, including and mostly the humor - though some humor really did land for me and made me LOL. But, then they make A Nightmare on Elm Street reference not too far after bleeping out an F-bomb. Not that I was offended, but it did kinda misstep the tone/audience.

This was way better than it deserved to be, and it was more fun than you'd expect. It's no Incredibles, though it is almost as long. (Yes, that's a gripe. No horror or animated movie should be longer than 90 minutes.)

I've seen better, but I've seen WAY worse live action, so this is totally recommended. And make sure watch the 2 mid-to-post credit scenes. (I'm not a fan of these, but every once in a while, they strike gold.)

    ***

Final Thoughts: Though... Why did they need to add the DC to "DC League of Super-Pets?" Is anyone gonna mistake this for Marvel or any other brand? Kinda hate that they did that. (And yes, I know Marvel did the same for their first Avengers movie. In their defense, they needed to separate it from that British Spy TV show-turned-90s-movie.)

    You people need a life
Imagine being such a miserable human being that you literally have nothing to do but complain about a cartoon that isn't "canonically correct" or isn't funny enough for adults.

Personally, as an adult, I loved this movie. It's funny, silly, and doesn't take itself too seriously.

Some of you incels on here need to seriously reconsider what you're doing with your lives.

If you can't watch something without critiquing it and finding the need to write a review, don't be shocked when there is nothing to watch but things people deemed in a committee would be "successful". Spoiler alert: that's where we are now because of you 1 star "reviewers".
