Colourful, emotional, and funny family road trip
This film was a hilarious family comedy about acceptance of yourself and more importantly, those around you, filled with quirkiness on a weirdly relatable level.

This movie surprised me, as a family film it's definitely one of the best in recent years, providing a unique direction in its style of animation, a satirical approach towards the cause of a modern apocalypse, and a compelling father-daughter relationship dead-centre. All of this is fuelled with a great cast and supporting characters. PAL felt very heavily influenced by Amazon, whether I'm right or not I don't really care because regardless it was a very funny approach towards how we observe and use technology without fully understanding or appreciating it's capabilities. The Mitchells themselves were each differing variations of awkward, quirky, and very chaotic.

However, a handful of jokes are framed in a social media approach like Snapchat filters and sequences looking like Instagram-edited images. Nine times out of ten it's just as effectively funny as the rest of the jokes, however it occasionally feels like a failed attempt at appealing as a modern comedy, but that could just be me.

Overall, it's a totally killer time that stands as a relatably quirky family movie, with some science fiction satire thrown in as a nifty bonus.

One of the cleverest and funniest I have ever seen
I heard incredible thing s about this movie whenever I approached to watch it, and this movie absolutely blasted my expectations of the window.

Interesting plot, incredible characters, and probably the greatest humor I have ever seen in a movie as I laughed throughout the entirety of it, you can't even describe how clever this movie is. Even just the very beginning already made me know that I'm going to absolutely love it, and the animation style adds so much more to it as I have never seen such fluidity and emotion coming through animated characters.

Anyway, I don't think there is a need for me to elaborate much further, just go watch it with your friends or family to have a great movie night for all ages.

    Fine movie
Honestly was pretty good. Though, at some points, a bit cringy and maybe gets a bit mushy at times, but at the end of the day, it was a good movie. I laughed a few times, which I don't usually do while watching movies. I liked the plot, it did make sense. It was pretty great, actually, compared to some awful kids movies I've watched between 2020 and 2023. I really don't know what else to say. Now this bit is just to fill up the required amount of words to actually submit the review. I apologize if this part is wasting your time. So I'll just keep typing until the required characters are filled up. -peace out. -Ralphie Walters.

    See it expecting nothing đŸ˜‰
It is a very refreshing movie, I saw the trailer and it didn't looked like a very interesting movie, the animation is this weird Sony tendence that it may look not so attractive at the beginning but the story is good and the jokes land perfectly, is a very family friendly movie, a shame it doesn't have a catchy song to win an Oscar but the kind of movie that might become a cult classic.

    Decent flick
Another great movie by Awesome-O. It has some good elements but but in the end the characters are a bit superficial. And the humor was not top notch. Had all the classic elements of a movie but I would have wanted something more. Nnnnnnnnvvv.
