    Didn't make sense
The whole idea that the dad would leave his daughter this guy locked in a basement and not explain anything is stupid. Also the fact that the dad didn't kill him and just kept him locked up for years is stupid. To me it just seemed like there was too many plot holes. Also the fact at the end the guy said he was her dad was also stupid. Like how did that contribute anything to the plot. Also the fact that the daughter believed any of what this guy said was stupid. I don't understand why she didn't wait to receive more information from the cop about the guy before she went and released him. There were just too many stupid plot decisions for me.

Saving you about 2 hours! avoid this movie
I should have at least looked at the ratings and could have done something else or watched some other movie.

I have a high tolerance when it comes to movies. But this one, not so. The movie had good potential. Firs the cast of Lily Colins as a DA doesn't fit. End of the moview she looked and acted like a teenager.

The movie has many loop holes. I usually don't write anythign that would let out or be considered as spoiles. But I am saving you two hours, so that is ok.

The Dad get's poisoned ... would he not call emergency line? For a high profile person like that to just die .. wouldn't there be investigation on cause of death? The father doesn't leave much for the daughter but leads her to the captive .. why? There was nothing that the captive had to give to the family - information or such. Why would he endanger his daughter. The best one is why would a DA, who was shown to be strong in her field, just believe someone who has been captive for 30 years by her father not be vindictive or want revenge? There are many more but .. hopefully this turns you any inclination to watch the movie.

The only two actors that fitted the roles and did a good job was Simon Pegg and the Lawyer. Lilly Collins, Mom, brother, husband .. all seemed like b-grade movie acting.

Was expecting less, but fairly surprised
Lily Collins as a district attorney (one of the biggest big shots at law) is one of the worst castings I've ever seen in my life. She can act though, she did what she could with the ridiculously unmatched role with a not-so-terrible performance.

Generally, this movie had potential. Hell, even some shots are filmed almost to great level. But it's all botched by some serious miscasting and even worse editing. Like, "fire the editor" kind of bad.

It's a kind of film that you need to turn your brain off and just enjoy what's what. Best part about it was Simon Pegg. Possibly one of the few things done right was casting him.

    Very Unbelieveable
Lily is miscast as a high profile lawyer but comes across as a very childish and immature woman. Simon has many opportunities to over power her and escape but does not.

Burning the bunker is really bad as there would still be remains left behind. What about the dead lawyer and the pilot at the airport hangar ?? Not much thought into reality with this movie. The acting was very mediocre and just the fact that a man was kept in the bunker for all those years and is in the physical condition that he is, makes no sense--no doctor, no dentist, etc. Etc. Overall very poorly done and kind of stupid.

    Pure garbage
Bad acting, especially annoying yelling Collins. Completely missed cast. Manhattan DA? Please! Tremendously absurd story. Utter lack of intelligence in the characters. A person with a low IQ would not behave the way the main character, a supposedly highly intelligent lawyer, would. Simon Pegg has his moments, probably the only salvable acting. Too bad there were no more scenes with Patrick Warburton. Maybe he could have rescued more moments in this monstrosity. I would give it zero stars if it was possible. Nobody can give me back the time I wasted watching this. Don't waste yours and pick something else to watch. You will thank me!

It was a 3 until the end
I hated the lead actress performance . She looked 12 and weighed a buck 05 and the director was trying to convince us of how tough she was. I got exhausted so I fast forwarded to the plane and then there was the twist. It was a good twist but Mrs buck 05 evening brought that down. Very lazy writing. I need to stay away from Netflix original movies. Why did the father pick her? Why did he leave her that inheritance amount vs her brother. None of that made since. If he'd left that to anyone else, this would've been a movie.

Simon Peggy's performance saved this film.

The key lime pie, made no since.
