    100% Must Watch
    As a movie nerd, this film was filled with all sorts of delights that tickled me. Firstly this was GORGEOUS to watch. I looked up the cinematographer and it was none other than Warwick Thornton, one of the director's country men who's also a director. They came up with a look that was so atmospheric you could almost smell the thick sticky heat right off the screen. The soundtrack worked really well, it never over powered the film but still it made me want to listen to elements of it again. I had to go and find it online and download it because it isn't on spotify but you can find it online if you look hard enough.

    The story is fantastic and never lets up whilst also taking the time to really delve into character and I guess that's what make this film work so well. Performances all round are excellent as you'd expect from such a stellar cast. I'm going to give this film a 9 instead of an 8 because of the scarcity of these kinds of classy films in a genre that is often filled iwth trash, I want them to make more movies like this.

    Worth your time.
    Is it the best film ever? No. Is Pierce Brosnan's accent convincing? No. Is it a massively original plot? No. But, the pace is perfect. The humour is beautifully subtle. It's well shot, well (accents aside) acted, and extremely entertaining. It's not hyper violent, sex and bad language is minimal and there are no slumps, it just jogs along to a deliciously different ending. It's a bit of fun, and that's what films should be all about. It does it's job. I typically hate 80% of the films I watch, I'm a picky person, but I really enjoyed it. If you're at a loose end for a couple of hours, give it a go.

    Bravo to the 3 leads
    Amazing. I consider myself pretty much up to date on movies and TV shows. But for some strange reason this film completely escaped my attention, despite the fantastic cast and crew. Has there been any advertising for it? I became aware only because a yoga partner started into a rave about something I had never heard of. And she's right, it's a very entertaining concoction that pleases as much as anything I've seen in the last 6 months. Macho without being too macho, sensitive and heartfelt without getting sappy. This somehow manages to balance all those elements so beautifully to make what should be a classic. Bravo to the 3 leads. And the writer.
