Chris Pratt must have the lost footage of the JFK assassination
I'm not saying that you had to go with the original Mario voice and I forget what his name is but there's literally 1000 actors/comedians who would've done a better job than him. He's long past being Hollywoods "it" guy. Stop giving rich celebrities more money because their business agent has a gambling addiction. I'd rather see a sequel to the Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie because it took some more risks and had better actors in it. Because Nintendo became a laughing stock after the 1993 movie came out they definitely had their Marinette strings on this production. Better than any Disney movie by far
So I was born in 1980, meaning Mario has been around for most of my life. This movie is everything I could imagine back in the 80's when I was a kid.
The plot is what the game itself is, a battle between Mario and Luigi against Bowser and all their friends and enemies in the middle.
If you grew up with Mario and you like 80's music you'll probably love it.
If you can't stand the Annoying and progressive messages from Disney then this one is definitely for you!!!

Extreme predictable and boring
When they announced this I didn't know exactly what to expect. But they didn't put any effort into this, they just took advantage of the fact that Super Mario is very populair. This film is just super, super, super predictable without a nice or good story. They must have spent 10 dollars on the writing team to make this movie look so cheap. Also the characters are based on a stereotypical standards and boring. This film will undoubtedly be intended for small children up to the age of 6 years.
For the budget it cost and the money this film raised, I expected way more. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over the age of 6 because this movie was a complete predictable waste of your time!
