Kenya Barris Used His Template Again
This version of 'Cheaper By the Dozen' is a predictable disappointment. Kenya Barris has once again provided us with another one of his closed minded, photocopied story lines in line with the typical Hollywood dribble. Concepts used in the movie are highly inaccurate and are fed from a culture that considers itself intelligent and enlightened. Something original would be a pleasant change. Shockingly, the only current mainstream Hollywood concept left out of this movie is the characters owning a classic car. Other than that, all of the currently necessary boxes were appropriately checked. Watching any of the previous versions of 'Cheaper By the Dozen' would be time better spent.

    Comedies used to be funny
They were so busy normalizing broken homes and marking off their woke movie checklists that they forgot to add anything funny. We dont have to pretend that divorce is just fine and dandy for everyone. I mean really, the ex wife is the live in baby sitter? That's a great expectation to set up... 😏The movie was more awkward than anything else and my kids asked to turn it off half way through. Watch the original, it's still funny.

I'm giving this a 10 for all of the 1's
Seriously this movie isn't that bad. These are unjust reviews against two very talented lead actor/actress. The truth is the movie is a new twist on an old classic. I wasn't expecting a Titanic like remake of Cheaper by the Dozen. We found it funny enough to watch it all the way through. There is some racial toned language but that's everywhere our kids even hear this stuff at school so to say this is just woke culture is crazy. I think they tried could have done better but overall did a good job of showing family unity.
