What IS this invisible force-field? Um... glass?
Despite pretty much being just an alternate telling of the classic 'Genie and the Lamp' story, this adds enough charm and ideas to keep the experience fresh and engaging. The characters are endearing and relatable, the bad guys entertaining and sinister, and the genie... sorry I mean dragon steals the show as he tries to adjust to a modern world after being trapped in the lamp for thousands of years. Yes, it's basically just Aladdin if it were set in modern day China, but its so much fun and full of heart that all is forgiven. A must watch, especially for the kids - my daughter thought it was great fun...
