Tired, and unbelievable should now be called "Fast and far fetched"
I used to enjoy a bit of escapism with the first 4 or 5 films in this series. Macho camaraderie, boosted street racing, moody main characters and plenty of action on 4 wheels. Then somewhere around 6 or 7 the franchise kind of lost touch with any semblence of reality, and insisted on making stunts involving cars as outrageous and ridiculous as possible. Not only are they simply ridiculous but stretch both the patience of the audience and the laws of physics in their function. I think the genre of the movie should be changed from action to fantasy as there is nothing believable about 70% of the stunts in this movie.

Sad to say it but this one sucked bad. I'm not a huge fan of F&F but I always watched them after release.
First of all, I absolutely couldn't accept the new villain (Momoa) who was some weird mixture between The Joker and captain Jack Sparrow. All the facial expressions and body language were too much.
Momoa's Dante was acting like he owns the whole world and wasn't even worried when doing massacres in different countries all around the world. Having so much resources and power that no one can touch him, despite Toretto stole all his money.
I was really confused by the dark skinned son. I remember the Little B from previous episode was a white little boy, as both parents are white people, especially Helena. Why the kid was black in this episode?!? That's disturbing.
Everything was too unrealistic and lacking sense. Whoever wrote this script should never write again.
Another lame part was the lack of cops during all of their bloody shenanigans, except in Rome, though those were some moronic coppers.
That huge ball-bomb scene in Rome was even more ridiculous than the huge safe-dragging in Rio. Come on... Dom dragging tho helicopters was another fantasy stunt.
Then we have another familiar face brought in, Mr Jack Reacher. His talking and behaviour made it look that's a "Jack Reacher" episode and not F&F. His all presents looked weird.
So much CGI and stupid stunts.... In the scene at the bridge when Dom and Jack Reacher unite forces, it looked like Dom's face before doing the car-stunt, was a CGI. Was it a CGI for real??
Letty and Cypher fight scene. Boom, bang, punch, kick in the chest, head kick, dozen punches in the faces, 5 minutes smacking each other and none of them was feeling any pain nor started bleeding. Mmmkay...
Mr Jason Statham appeared also, but I already don't remember what he did in this movie... And I finished watched it just an hour ago. 🙄 Maybe I wasn't watching the screen, it was so boring by the end..
The only good scene was when they were street racing. All other was utter garbage.
I was so disappointed by the lame script that I wanted to stop it just after 30 minutes... Then again at the middle... Then I thought to my self - this is probably the grand finale of this soap opera, so let's keep watching and see what happens at the end!
And oh, big surprise... It ended like we can expect another 10 movies. Gimme a break.....

You guys are hating too much
Of course its not the best in the franchise, but honestly i like it. Yes there are many cringe and not great scenes, i still think its a good vibe and had good action. Honestly top 5 of all the movies in my opinion.
