    SISU
2020 and 2021 was a tough year for all first the covid and then the war in Ukraine after the downgrade of the pandemic. This movie is about an girl meeting and dragon that survived an battle against the forces of evil,as this movie portraits the early 2020s in the uprising of an modern Asia. The animation is gorgerous that ranks from the dragons to the remote Asian settings. It feels like an girly movie in the style of My Little Pony: A New Generation, but men can enjoy this too as there are many nicely done battle sequences. Raya and the Last Dragon may have faced many dangers in entertainment that year, but got saved by streaming.

Magical, takes you to another universe
This film is very underrated, and it makes me sad to know that it didn't reach many people, for example, it took me a long time to watch it, and when I did, I asked myself why I hadn't done it before. I loved the action and adventure sequences that this film gives us, the style, visuals, design and culture are very present and simply fabulous, it's beautiful to watch, I would like more time with the characters, and more development on the part of them, this film would make a great series and I really wanted it to continue without the need for a second film. The film's final message is something that applies very much in today's contexts, and we should really try to follow it. Anyway, I loved it, I would have liked more things here and there, more time for some characters and more extensive development, but I was surprised by how good this film was, and it completely enchanted me, very magical and beautiful, it took me to another universe several times.

A delightful Eastern adventure from Disney
On a fantasy world where humans and magical dragons lived together on the dragon shaped island-continent of Kumandra a threat known as the Druun arrived. These spirits turned people and dragons to stone. The last of the dragons combined their powers to form the 'Dragon Gem'. This banished the Druun but the dragons were no more. Five hundred years pass and the continent is divided into five nations, each named after the part of the dragon they are located. Heart looks after the gem but the others want it. One day they try to take it but the gem is broken. This leads to the return of the Druun. Each land now has a fifth of the gem. Reya, the daughter of the man who protected the gem is determined to reunite the pieces and ultimately reunite their world. Along the way she finds Sisu, the last surviving dragon. Together, along with various people they meet along the way, they set about accomplishing that goal. It won't be easy in a world were few people trust each other and each country only cares about itself.

I thought this film was an utter delight. The story is relatively simple, which should suit the younger viewers that are likely to be the films core audience. The characters are mostly likeable and a lot of fun. There are antagonists but none of them are really wicked. The Druun, an unthinking menace are suitably scary but probably aren't too scary for most children. There is one scene, near the end, that may cause upset but it isn't too long before it becomes clear that things will work out happily... something no adult viewer watching Disney animation is likely to doubt. As one would expect everything looks great, especially during the action scenes. The location has a deliberately East-Asian feel; this includes architecture, characters and dragon designs. Many Disney films are musicals but this isn't one of those so don't expect the characters to break into song. Overall I'd certainly recommend this to viewers of all ages; great family viewing.

    Amazing entire movie
From the start to finish it was captivating! Good storyline and message and entertaining! A very well put together disney movie and did not disappoint at all. Loved it. I definitely recommend this movie to watch. The storyline was different, beautiful visuals and heart warming.

Unsure what else to write but definitely recommend this movie as a must see. You will laugh, cry and be on this journey with Raya and wonder what the outcome will be. No idea what else to write but unsure why a review has to be so many words at a minimum lol. I enjoyed the movie and therefore give it a high rating! Thank you.

I found it very nice. I really liked the soundtrack, the characters and the plot. I really hope Disney will do some TV series or sequel about Raya and the last dragon in the future.
