What was this?
So... this happened. This film tells the story of a little insight of the lives of Lucille Ball and her husband as the most famous television couple for many years and how they transformed the number one show, I Love Lucy. Though Nicole Kidman's portrayal of the iconic Lucille Ball was enough, it may not have been enough to carry this film. It is a moderate story as it shows the behind the scenes of the making of their own television show and the work that goes behind every episode, but audiences wanted more. In some ways, this story almost felt like a documentary as it was more informative and factual than much else.
