Prepare for the next generation cinematography benchmark!
    Wow, wow, and wow!

The story, cast, pitch and the suspense... Spot on!

This movie sets standards which will take some special magic... Certainly not the ones Indian fans are used to watching.

This is punjabi... And it is bad ass movie.

For decades we have openly asked where are the subcontinent other movies, what are the other languages, what are their capabilities.... What can they deliver.

We get saddened by a long deep, somber silence... And out of no where comes a destroyer like this. And yes, it was worth the wait.

Just original... No copy dialogues, same old actors in another 100's role, no nonsense music or bs lines rinsed 1000 times ... This is raw, original, the one.

    None other like it.

Beginning of a new era of Punjabi Cinema
"The Legend of Maula Jatt" is a Pakistani film that blends action, romance, and drama into an epic cinematic experience.

Directed by Bilal Lashari, the movie is a tribute to the original Punjabi film "Maula Jatt" which was released in 1979 and has since become a cult classic.

The story is set in a rural village in Punjab, where Maula Jatt (Fawad Khan) is a local hero known for his fearless and powerful persona. He is loved and respected by the villagers, but his rivalry with the villainous Noori Nath (Hamza Ali Abbasi) soon turns into a bloody feud that threatens to tear the village apart.

The film is a visual treat, with breathtaking landscapes, stunning cinematography, and impressive special effects. The action scenes are particularly noteworthy, with choreographed fights that are both intense and thrilling.

The film also features some outstanding performances, with Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi delivering standout performances as Maula Jatt and Noori Nath respectively.

What sets "The Legend of Maula Jatt" apart is its blend of traditional Punjabi culture with modern filmmaking techniques.

The film's soundtrack adds to the film's unique appeal. The film also features strong female characters, with Mahira Khan and Humaima Malik delivering standout performances as the female leads.

At its core, "The Legend of Maula Jatt" is a story about the triumph of good over evil, and the importance of standing up for what is right. It is a film that will appeal not just to fans of Pakistani cinema, but to anyone who enjoys a good action-packed drama with a touch of romance. Overall, "The Legend of Maula Jatt" is a must watch film that showcases the best of Pakistani cinema and sets a new benchmark for the industry.

    Navva ayaa ae'n SOHNEYAA!!!
The Legend of Maula Jutt executed astonishingly and single handedly dominated the aspects of direction, acting, dialogue, story and above all action. The film showed domains of Love, Dispair, Fear, Hope, Vengence and again above all War.

The Maula Jutt rings the bell even to the population who havent seen the actual 1979 cult classis but every breathing Pakistani is aware of "nava ayaa en sohnya", "main tere ennay totay karanga....." and "maulay ne maula na maray te maula nahin marda"

Bilal Lashari outdone himself. He remade this cult classic in way it was deserved to be made. Broke his own record of making the critically and commercially the most successful film of Pakistan.

The locations and sets, the costumes and the weaponery, he literally renewed the Gandassa culture.

According to me the showstealer was Hamza Ali Abbasi, he brilliantly portrayed the character of Noori Nutt. His expressions, dialogie delivery and appearence all alligned brilliantly with the character.

Fawad khan performed well, his chocolate boy visuals didnt effected role and his long hair beard look made him like alpha male of our industry. His machoism or Maula is one of a kind.

I guess no one could have done the roles better then these two actually.

I never liked Gohar before, after LNJ his character formate changed my reviews for him, but jow after TLMJ i can say he is a fascinating actor who can i dulge in role, perform accents and indeed the madness of makha suited him well.

Rest of the cast including Humaima, Ali azmat, Shafqat Cheema and remainings, they all did well.

The only character which was out of order to its peak was Mahira Khan. She didnt suit the role, her accent was bad as hell and there are 100s of actresses who could have performed her role far far better. One can say her performance was more like "elaichi in biryani".

The sets and screenplay made the normal common story more then whatit actually was. Camera work for Gandasa closeups and the village scenes was awesome.

No song policy had me. It was a good decision for not adding songs to this masterpiece.

Overall the movie is brilliant just like Waar but more reformed and polished direction i say.

It is definitly a worthy watchn.

Watch TLMJ and support our industry.

    Nawaan aya Soniaaa
A reboot of Yunus Malik's 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt, the film is a re-telling of the story of the rivalry between Maula Jatt and Noori Natt. Directed by Lashari, The Legend of Maula Jatt. Pakistani cinema's grandest offer, The Legend of Maula Jatt, has been released after a decade-long wait. There's a lot of blood and sweat that went into the making of Bilal Lashari's magnum opus. Touted as the most expensive project in the Pakistani film industry, The Legend of Maula Jatt is set in the fantastical land of Punjab, with crucial attention to detail. From larger-than-life sets to impeccable costume designs, the crew behind The Legend of Maula Jatt was just as imperative as the cast to breathe life into Lashari's lifelong dream.

    Simply fantastic and fabulous movie
After a long time, yes we did it I think it's a start of new pakistani movie cinema journey. Best of luck and please don't stop it no matter what and specially I liked the the character noori (hamza Ali abbasi), the most. All cast worked really hard and it turns really great. Bilal lashari is a gem. Keep working and hands-off to you dear. Best dialogue in the movie is 'maula nu maula na Mary ty Maula ni marda'. Giving first time review and want to continue it. Surprising character was huamima malik, you are really strong and fabulous actor. More power to you. At the end, fawad Khan is all time fav actor of all. Please make more movies and we all are waiting for....
