muellfuer - 24 March 2024 Disappointing content for misleading title The titel, To the Hashira Training, might show content in which any protagonists train for a specific goal.
In fact, a large part of the movie recaps the Last Episode and Parts of the old seasons.
Positive Aspects are that it has technological positives Attributes. The Sound is nice with sorrounf aspects and animation are good. But animations are copied from the series, so it cant be Part of the Rating since the original Episode are still rated for its quality. A Part of The Movie is >stolen<
Compared to the predecessor Mugan Train, the Movie Shows Not really new or exiting content and thus is very disappointing.
CinemaSerf - 2 March 2024 Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - To the Hashira Training Now it's probably my fault, but I should have remembered after watching "Swordsmith Village" last March that this isn't a film at all, but the tail episode of a series (I hadn't seen) used to introduce the first episode of a new season (which I won't watch either) and so it didn't really make much sense. The ongoing training of "Tanjiro" as he seeks to become Hashira is mixed in with the continuing search for "Nezuko" and "Ubuyashiki" by the increasingly frustrated "Muzan". As with any serialisation, each episode is just a conduit to the next, so this film delivers very little by way of plot development. A tiny bit of closure is soon subsumed into an whole new set of challenges that will beset them as the next slew of episodes follow. Sadly, that means there's precious little story for us to get our teeth into and so we are really just left with some stylish and accomplished animation that we have all seen many, many, times before. As with last time, they didn't even bother to sew the episodes together properly, we get a credit roller amidst the thing. There are loads of interesting characters here but this film relies way too heavily on your having followed the strand elsewhere. As a stand alone piece of cinema, it's watchable, but pretty meaningless.
fatherofchicks - 26 February 2024 Complain to Crunchyroll How can I complaint to Crunchy Roll??? Because I detest and seriously HATE scam greedy money grabbing move like this. I actually wanted to watch this at the cinema and support the work everyone involve are doing.
I actually wants to support the people involved in the creation of this anime series, but from what I got I ma very annoyed.
And I am very p*sed OFF by what I saw!
*first 7-10 mins was a montage of previous episodes.
*half of the movie was just the LAST few episodes of season 3
*the sound quality for the recap season 3 episodes were in 2 channel stereo!!!
*last 24mins was just episode 1 of Season 4
*at least the season 4 episode 1 was in 5.1 surround sound.
I read a review by Cineworld that the Train Arc movie that came out was good but did not recap on any thing relating to previous episodes of Demon slayer, therefore newcomers watching the movie for the first time were left confused.
I was thinking was that the case for this movie? If that was the case, why would they play a montage of season 1-3 for 10mins and then replay last 2 episodes of season 3???
2024 is not going well for cinema movies, I already decided not to support Marvel movies after the atrocious The Marvels. In fact I enjoyed Madam Webb more than The Marvels. Now Demon Slayer Hashira training is nothing more than a scam.
I really want Crunchyroll to get in touch with me and refund my money because I will not be supporting any anime movie that comes out the cinema from Crunchyroll.
I watched The Chosen season 4 at the cinema and it contained 2 episodes. This movie was just 1 episode of season 4!
