    5/10 is apt
I really don't like kid actors in movies and this movie is an example as to why. Kid actors are always corny and never behave like a kid in any role they're in. The kid in this movie they had doing and saying weird stuff to make him seem more adult-like.

Also, you mean to say this 6 year old knew who the killer was the whole time and didn't say anything until the very end? WHY. He's also writing blackmail letters? The kid figured it was poisoning before his Doctor father did? Ridiculous man.

It's weird that these Hollywood scripts always try to make the kid the most interesting and intelligent person in the room when they're just being cringe. It's gotta stop.

    I'd recommend
I've been so bored of movies lately I truly have and this was bloody brilliant. The trailers did NOT give this movie away & I was surprised to have a spooky themed murder mystery. It was good acting & cast . The scenery & ambience was incredible . I felt really engaged throughout the movie . It did give me a jump or two and I loved the cross between reason & spirituality. I also found the characters to be interesting and not insufferable. I really loved the twist at the very end when you find something out about a certain character . Overall I'd recommend this to anyone and everyone looking for something fresh and different. Amazing & just well produced!

"A Haunting in Venice" adds mystery and spookiness in right places
    Greetings from Lithuania.

As a one who did not read any books about Poirot, i did enjoy "A Haunting in Venice" (2023) mostly at the same level as previous two films. This one as two previous as well are not great movies, but they are solid and entertaining enough to recommend it. "A Haunting in Venice" did it a bit differently by adding - no spoilers, the whole haunting theme with sets, mystery, mood, music on spot. I liked it because of that.

Overall, if you enjoyed previous two films about Poirot, you will enjoy "A Haunting in Venice" as well. Intriguing and well made enough to keep person engaged in not so long 1 h 40 min.
