Surprisingly genuine and sweet. And also hilarious
What can I say, I had a blast. Lawrence is, of course, perfect, but her co-lead has a lot of moments to shine too and was genuinely adorable.

The comedic timing of this movie is spot on and made me laugh out loud multiple times, i had to pause i was laughing so hard. The gags are varied, the conflict and plot felt surprisingly real and wasn't too contrived, the characters were genuine and layered...

A movie with heart, not dumbed down too much, sentimental but manages not to be cheesy. So yeah, big recommendation! One of the best romcoms i've seen in recent years. Lawrence is perfect in comedies!

    Uncomfortable to watch
I thought it was going to be a remake of the Sarah Jessica Parker/Matthew McConaughey movie, Failure to launch, but it was so much worse and creepier. I could only get through 30 minutes of the movie it was so dumb and uncomfortable. In real life manipulating and grooming a much younger person would be considered abusive... This movie was not funny or endearing in any way.

The jokes were very dumbed down and unoriginal and the characters unlikable and unrelatable. Although Jennifer Lawrence is stunning and therefore nice to look at, the oversexualization and nudity was unnecessary and her acting felt very forced.

    It's Jennifer!
I mean, I have been a huge fan of Jennifer Lawrence since watching Hunger Games! This girl can do any role and nail the part. I watched and loved Hunger Games because she was amazing and she looked like my oldest sister there. My sister is my hero and she was also a hero in that series.

Moving on, she's really funny and awesome and absolutely drop dead gorgeous.

And man this movie gave me La La Land vibes for some reason but I loved it. Nobody would have done this better than Jennifer. I absolutely love this person and all of her movies. This movie was absolutely amazing even though I found some morally unacceptable situations. Thank you.
