Why
This film is awful, I don't normally leave a review but this film is just so bad it makes no sense. What is with all the slo-mo at the most pointless times, bad character building if you could even call it character building it's just some random people meeting eachother with a quest plot to get them to join. Buckbeak from Harry potter makes a guest appearance for some reason and then isn't in it again. Most of the film just feels like a bunch of terrible short stories mashed together and they forgot what was happening half through so continued down some terrible plot line with no real build up to an anticlimactic ending. - pangabourne - 27 May 2024
Worth it!
I don't understand how this got such a low rating? It is excellent! The storyline is brilliant, the characters are amazing and the acting is above par! Definately a movie that his ample potential for quite a few sequels. I say yes...worth a watch and a good 90 minutes spent. I love the emotion portrayed, the main actress is a stunner with striking features, and her acting is brilliant. I will not spoil the plot for you but I love the storyline even though it is an obvious plotline, good vs evil, the masses revolting against the privaleged few ... It is after all called rebel moon..I say watch it and ignore those who tend to overblowt their importance in critique. - mweschliman - 16 May 2024
The secret to happiness is low expectations!
There are so many bad reviews about there being nothing original in this film. I didn't mind it because I pretty much expect to not be wowed anymore when watching a show or a movie. So few are super original and it seems like pretty much everything is a remake or copied ideas. This wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as people say. If you go into it to see some cool special effects and want to turn your mind off for a bit you will be ok. If you go into it looking for something insanely new and exciting, you will be disappointed.
