    Evade if possible, feminist agenda
Evade his films if you are ignited by: the man is the bad one and the girl even though she cheats on the husband, the girl is not the bad one. Tropes

This film tries to make you think: EVERYONE is a suspect as part of the Mystery, and then gets solved (with holes on the plot) just to throw even more BS at you. It's sad to see these kinds of simple tropes over and over coming again also,

Miles away you can see the dialogs were written by women empowering women, not only me but my wife was sickened as to how the portray of men and "untrustable" status is setup on the characters (just males) over and over again.

    5.8/10. Watchable but not recommended
Had the ending been different, i would have rated it higher. Maybe i would have recommend it, because this was a kinda good mystery/disappearance movie. An interesting story, likeable characters and good acting. Nothing fancy neither memorable but it kept my attention.

However, the last 10 minutes are borderline ridiculous. The ending ruined the movie. This final twist was totally unnecessary. Moments ago, there was a conclusion that i didn't predict and the movie could end at this point. What happened in the last 10 minutes look like a self-sabotage, the writers choose to give a ridiculous ending to their story.

If you love mystery movie and you don't think it too thoroughly, you might like it more than me.

    Crime Fantasy
    Nice setting; unbelievable characters.

Unfortunately this film is a by-the-numbers cliche plot twist move that is just too silly to rate highly. Some of the silly character actions include:

    • The 'heart of gold' refugee taxi driver with spare time to drive around in his taxi for many hours if not days, for free, to help a stranger
    • The police inspector who thinks her subordinate is a rapist, yet takes his side through most of the film, even though he has failed to file a report on a missing woman, and behaves like a misogynist the entire time
    • A twenty year old with a huge modern building to rent out who composes music for a living but owns not a single instrument
    • Police that can turn up in force, within seconds of receiving a tip-off from a taxi office
    • A protagonist who, every time she gets a clue, rushes into the nearest bathroom to think about things, whilst an antagonist waits outside, and who tells the person that she suspects them of being the killer right when she is most vulnerable
    • A police inspector in Croatia who is able to use her 6th sense to direct police in London to the new address of a murderer, despite the address never being said out loud or any other clues being given over the phone as to where the person was.

Don't listen to the Haters...Enjoyable Who Done it
I was interested right away when I saw the trailer, then when it came out and I saw the reviews, I was like nah, maybe not. I put it off for months. Finally I said screw it.

It kept my interest from the start. Didn't know who did what or what happened or why. There was a few different stories within the main one which I also enjoyed. The acting from the lead was fine, not great but maybe it was just the film. However, all the other actors I found to be very good. I found it to keep my attention the entire movie, which is not easy to do these days. There are so many suspects and how that is was even great. Was it GREAT? Not really LOL, but very worth the watch. I say go for it if you want a generally fun who done it.

Read the book, it's way better
The film is rushed with no character development.

The books builds up characters much better, with a lot of exposition and descriptions. Also the book is written from the point of view of Beth. You hear her inner thoughts.

Also a lot of things are changed in the movie, much of them not making any chance.
