    Yet another American garbage
Uncharted is an unserious movie about two American criminals who try to loot Magellan's lost ships.

The villain is the descendant of Magellan himself, who I actually felt bad for!

The priceless archeological treasure belongs to Singapore by law. And to the scientific community. But these two kids just went and destroyed it all. Which makes them even worse than the villain!

The story has so many holes that it's embarrasing to watch. They just said "oops.. anyway..."

For example, You can't just move large ships with tiny helicopters in a foreign territory! Sully couldn't possibly get into the dungeon without a key and none of them could possibly just walk out of there! Nate didn't check the south of the map when triangulating the position! Not to mention the action scenes...

Horrible movie. Horrible ending. No moral of the story. Meaningless hooks (like the bubblegum reference). Just terrible.

    Mediocre
I'm not a big fan by any means but honestly I think that Tom Holland was the only reason why I finished the movie. I think his acting stood out compared than the others, I quite enjoyed his character. On the other hand, it was so so hard to watch the actress who was playing Chloe Frazer -- the acting, the accent was the worst, it makes her part look so insignificant and unnecessary. The dialogue is pretty cheesy including Braddock. The character Sully was annoying and pretty bland, not expressive whatsoever. Well, the first few scenes only but afterwards it was all over the place, he looked pathetic. It is packed with action, not bad but not memorable either. The visual is pretty good. For a no brainer movie this is okay and easy to watch.

    Fun Entertaining Popcorn Movie.
Sam and Nate are orphan brothers living in Boston, raised in a home run by Nuns. They dream of finding Magellan's lost gold. Sam runs away but promises Nate he will come back for him, leaving Nate his prized ring, owned by their ancestor, Sir Francis Drake. Through the years, Sam sends Nate postcards from across the world. Then suddenly the postcards just stopped.... Nothing.

Now, Fifteen years later, in NYC, Nate is now a bartender and he is also a highly skilled pickpocket, stealing from his wealthy customers.

Enter Sully, a seasoned treasure hunter that claims to know Sam. Sully needs Nate to find Magellan's lost gold that has been lost for 500 years and that is what Nate has always dreamed about..... And with the hope of finding his brother too, Nate agrees to go and the quest for the $5 billion in lost treasure begins.

But someone else is after the treasure, Santiago Moncada, a ruthless billionaire who believes he is the rightful heir to Magellan's treasure and will stop at nothing to get that gold.... Even murder.

"So much blood so needlessly spilled" - Santiago Moncada

So the treasure hunt turns into a deadly race across the globe and whoever can decipher the clues first and still survive, will find Magellan's lost gold.

Well I never played the Uncharted video game but the movie is a fun fast-paced adventure flick. It is not "Raiders of the Lost Ark" but it is a good movie. Antonio Banderas makes a great villain, and the teaming of Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland totally works. Nothing really special or groundbreaking, just a fun entertaining popcorn movie.

Stay tuned for two post credit scenes.

Cast - Mark Wahlberg, Tom Holland, Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle, Sophia Ali, Rudy Pankow.

    Pure Entertainment.
If you enjoy the Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones), National Treasure kind of movies, you'll enjoy this one.

Had no clue this was a video game, and you don't need to know anything about the video game to be fully entertained..

The plot is predictable and the end sets it up for Uncharted 2. The movie is classic, formulaic, non-stop fun. The FX are excellent, the villains play their part, and no unseen twists, so just sit back and don't worry about trying to solve a riddle - the plot will unfold satisfactorily.

Not a fan of the primary villain who effortlessly kicks everyone's ass, has inexplicable loyalty from other's henchmen, and is literally everywhere without doing any work to get there. But, so be it.

    good film
UNCHARTED IS AN ACTION PACKED FILM WHIH HAS BEEN ADAPTED FROM THE FAMOUS VIDEO GAME. IT DEPICTS THAT MONEY AND GOLD IS NOTHING COMPARED TO A BIG FRIENDSHIP.

THE FILM IS SET IN EGYPT WHERE TO DIFFERENT FRIEND GROUPS ARE TRYING TO STEAL A CROSS FROM THE BIGGEST AUCTION IN THE WORLDWHERE MANY BUSINESSMAN FROM MANY COUNTRIES ATTENT TO BID FOR. THE CROSS IS WORTHLES BECAUSE IT UNLOCKS WHIH HAS A MAP INSIDE THAT DEPICTS WHERE THE TREASURE WITH THE GOLD IS. THE ACTORS IN LEADING ROLES ARE CALLED NATHAN DRAKE AND SALLY WHO WOULD KILL FOR MONEY. OF OURSE THEY SUCCESFULLY STEAL THE CROSS AFTER PASSING BY THE BIG AND ARMEDSECURITY MEN. WHILE THE STORY UNFOLDSAND THEY TRAVEL TO SPAIN WHERE THE SERET LOCATION IS, THE CROSS GETS TAKEN OVER BY BOTH SIDES. AS SOON AS BOTH ENEMIES FIND THE LOATION AT THE SAME TIME, THEY STARTED AHOOTING AT EACH OTHER, SUDDENLY NATHAN GETS SHOT IN THE LEG AND HE IS HURT. SALLY WAS IN A DILEMMA, HE COULD GET GOLD AND LEAVE OR SAVE HIS FRIEND NATHAN. HE HOOSES THE BETTER OPTION AND THREW THE LAST PIEE OF GOLD TO THE ENEMY AND THEY BOTH ESAPED ALIVE BUT WITHOUT THE PRIZE.

UNCHARTED HAS VERY MEANINGFUL MESSAGE BEHIND THE STORY. IT SHOS THAT SALLY'S AND NATHAN'S FRIENDSHIP IS SOMETHING MORE PRICELESS THAT MONEY. NO ONE CAN BREAK THEM IN HALF BECAUSE THEY ARE ALWAYS A TEAM. EVEN MONEY WHICH IS A BASI NEED THESE DAYS IS SOMETHING INDIFFERENT FOR THEM.

ALL IN ALL, HAVING A FRIENDSHIP IS VERY LOVELY AND IMPORTANT AND DO NOT EVER LEAVE A PERSON THAT YOU LOVE BECAUSE THE MEMORIES THAT ARE MADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOREVER.

Poor adaptation of the game and terrible antagonist
Overall it was ok. I didn't mind Holland as Drake. He's not quite what video game Drake was but he's a good actor and made it work. Wahlberg wasn't really a great choice either.

My main issue with this movie was the female antagonist "Jo" they chose. More of the Hollywood trope where a small skin and bones of a woman runs around beating up much bigger men. Fine, whatever. But... then they decide to have her kill of Banderas. Why? Why would Banderas' henchmen suddenly follow her around? She has no standing, no money, isn't physically intimidating in any way and dresses like a moron. The movie would have been no different if she wasn't in it.

Finally, I don't know what was going on with Drake not using a gun most of the movie. Maybe Holland is anti-gun or something? Drake literally where's a shoulder holster with a pistol in every game.

A disservice to the legacy of the games.
One of the most lifeless visions put to film. Takes the gist of the plot of the uncharted games but doesn't have the heart to boot, unlike the original games. The two leads couldn't have been more horribly casted. Nate in the games is a diligent, charismatic guy. Tom Holland has the charisma of a block of wood. Sully in the games is a grumpy but thoughtful old man with tons of personality. Mark wahlberg is not old, nor grumpy, nor thoughtful. Seeing the two leads interact is like taking two pieces of white bread, dipping them into a glass of water, and then taking a bite. Not like the rest of the cast tried either. I liked banderas's cartoon character, but then he dies and i go "wow, there goes literally the only thing I enjoyed." the action was really bad. They literally have a fight in a papa johns. They don't even do anything unique with that, like include a cool kitchen fight with pizza cutters, or something interesting, they just punch each other and then marky throws her at a wall. They literally have a battle in the sky with two boats but the filmmaking is so uninteresting that i don't care. Just a sad reflection on the state of blockbusters today. Unfunny writing that thinks that referencing something that exists is automatically the funniest thing ever, excessive use of green screens and poor CGI, and an overwhelming lack of wonder or adventure, or thrills. Just a series of scenes that tick off the boxes that corporations have made for a successful franchise film. Honestly surprised they didn't bring up snapchat filters. Really strange how PlayStation was willing to make a 120 million dollar teaser trailer to the true piece of kino, Father Stu, in theaters April 13th.

    What a waist
Let me start by saying that I am a fan of the game series. But this film is a waist of the viewers time and it's actors. Cause let's be honest there's some real talent. Tom Holland and co have proven that they can act. But this film lacks in the story department. It feels like a best off the action sets from the game. Add some action film tropes. And there you go. The story of this film. The best part of the film is the end. Where you finally hear the Uncharted theme music. The worst may be a certain cameo by a certain voice actor. Tom might have been right when he said it was his worst project yet.
