Gadot is great in this movie
The haters can't be watching the same movie. From the beginning to the end. Period. Is fascinating the lead female Gadot has really shown that she got what it takes to do any action movie and can definitely carry the lead role.

The movie has solid action and few clever twists (never saw it coming) with. Parker. Parker kills a few people and finally gets to Stone ( Gadot ) and does a disservice to eliminate her from the game and finally reveals who he is and what he is after.

It took me a minute to figure out Rachel's character and when I finally realized it, I was shocked.

I get my the negativity, movie is too much like James Bond's movies. But it still a good watch.

I was on the chess team.....
Rachel Stone is a technician who works along with a team of MI6 field agents.

The mission is to locate the "heart" an AI enabled computer which has the capability of hacking into any software and could cause havoc should it fall into the wrong hands.

Keya is an Indian computer specialist who is attached to another syndicate. Circumstances bring Rachel and Keya together and they realise that they have a common mission. They then team up to prevent the "heart" from falling in the wrong hands.....

So you get the title? It's the maguffin and the main protagonists surname splice into the title, and that's the most intelligent thing about the film. What we hav here is a James Bond/Mission Impossible rip off, and there is even a title sequence song with graphics, and it's as cringey as it sounds.

I'm not saying that Gadot is a bad actress, but anything outside of the now extinct DCEU, she shouldn't be touching it with a barge pole. But hey!! This is Netflix, so they don't care about budget, cast, or plausibility, they just want to make things look pretty. And to be fair on them, they have achieved that somewhat.

So e have a team of people who are doing a True Lies at the beginning of the film, and we have a special guest, aside from Gadot in the team. Could this be foreshadowing? After all, he is the pseudo boss of the outfit, and to be honest, you haven't see the rest of the outfit in anything of note.

It's a ho hum affair, with a few good set pieces thrown in, but trust me, you could be doing a hundred other things whilst watching this, and not get confused. All you get is set piece, a title exposition, another set piece, and that's hoe the film pans out for its duration.

All in all, it's not very good, as beautiful as the set pieces look, they have all been done before, and a whole lot better. But if you are doing chores, and they take about 120 minutes to do them, stick this on, it distracts you foe a hot minute.

One of the movies of 2023
This certainly was a movie in 2023.

Gal Gadot had both a heart of stone and acting like a stone. At every point before I turned it off I said to myself, this is a movie, it really is a movie.

You can't help but feel the same small scale heavy effects feeling that Netflix streaming movies give you, like that its either shot on a sound stage or entirely digital, so lots of fuzzy action, no real sense or danger, and the most unrealistic of outcomes.

I felt the same way after Red Notice, that I had wasted my time and my life was shorter now.

At least there won't be a sequel, the world is not that cruel.
