    Wow
I watched the first premiere show in the US and, after a long wait, saw a Bollywood performer who had me captivated from beginning to end. Ideal ratio of sophisticated to ostentatious treatment.

The narrative is familiar from the Tamil version, although there are a few new twists and turns here. The fundamental ideas are still the same. Standing ovations are due to the director for maintaining the narrative's coherence and interest.

Saif Ali Khan plays a fantastic, calm, and enigmatic police officer! Radhika Apte plays a minor but significant role.

But just one man-Hrithik Roshan-will dazzle everyone with his greatest performance! The performer always pushes himself to surpass his previous performance. Here he is both merciless and perceptive.

Surprise to see flop at Box Office
A very typical Indian Cinema gangster story, good cop bad guy, story, with next level above matrix action sequence, with pinch of drama, with some suspense, below average songs, made up movie.

The reason i concluded for it's box office failure was it to be a remake of a south movie, but as now south movies are easily present with dubbing / subs therefore most of the people tend to watch the original rather the remake.

Since, i never saw the original so this remake was a bit appealing. Will not rate it as some next level action, mind blowing action, but at least Saif Ali Khan and especially Hrithik Roshan has put on a fabulous screen show for the audience.

Rest it's a complete full on pop corn action movie just that the last ending action scene just went too over board.

    One time watch only.

    Deserved more love and acknowledgment
An enthralling screenplay, a compelling script that at first introduces us to the traditional sides of right and wrong, the acts of black and white, but then it shrewdly puts us into a dilemma, a state of confusion where more contentious shades of grey take precedence and the uncertainties become prominent. The complex characters and their motivations add to the intrigue, making the audience question their own moral compass.

And this conundrum is exacerbated by some great action and a couple of titillating performances, particularly by Hrithik Roshan. The madness in his eyes, the calm on his face, and the unrivalled swag and style in his demeanour proved to be contagious, as he kept me completely captivated!

    original is better
I have seen south version already so it does not seems to be good for me Hritik Rohan and Saif Ali Khan although have delivered strong performances. For the first half a hour, I thought 'what is going on in the movie?' but the movie takes a grip just after that.

With a very engaging storyline, strong acting by the lead actors, and top-notch direction, this is a very good movie. But the movie does not make mark on mind of audience. You can see one time, it is not that bad also, but not good as expected. I am giving six star to movie for action but i was expecting more from acting side but let see people final verdict.

    Surprisingly nice for a remake
Wasn't expecting a lot based on the trailer. But the movie itself turned out to be a decent watch. Due to the fact that I had watched the Tamil version, I of course had biases and made comparisons throughout, but i liked how they changed a few nuances here and there. Especially liked how they tweaked Vedha's character based on Hrithik Roshan's acting. That was the main change. Then of course, the change in places and respective references based on that.

Saif's character felt pretty similar to Madhavan's, but here too, didn't feel like as much of a drag as I expected it to be. Of course, the fact that the plot is so good probably had something to do with it.
