    🎏 It's a Tight and Fun Watch 🏊
Just Got Out of a Cinematic Release of Luca.

Quick Sidenote - it's a Shame that Luca, Soul and Turning Red weren't Locked in a Vault and kept until way after the Pandemic for a Cinematic ReleaseπŸ”’. These 3 Films were so Well Made in Concept, Characters and Plotlines.

Things i liked about the Film -

    • 🐠 The Concept was although not original, Very fun to see how it played on screen and went on.

    • πŸ“œ The Plotline was Very good. 2 "Humans" find themselves a shore, discovering the delights of this small little town in Italy and Partaking in a 3 Event Race to Secure themselves a "Luxury πŸ˜‚" Moped.

    • πŸ™‹πŸ™…πŸ™ŽπŸš΄ The 4 main Characters were Luca, Alberto, Giulia and Ercole. Luca meets Alberto and they become friends who then go on to meet Giulia who also go on to become friends and to partake in this event. But they bump into the 5 Time Champion πŸ† Ercole who is looking to make it 6 in a row.

    Overall, a very Enjoyable Watch.

    It Made Me Cry
I'm not going to get into the details, but the ending of this movie made me cry a little bit!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and most definitely recommend this movie to anyone who has watched a minute of any Disney movie.

I very much enjoyed this movie, and recommend this to anyone who has watched a second of any Disney movie.

I loved this movie and you should watch it if you have watched any Disney movie.

(And yes, I said the same thing again and again so I could post my review.)

Watch Luca on Disney+, it might be in theaters currently but I'm not sure.

Thank you for wasting your time and reading my review. I'm so very sorry if this was not helpful.

    Vespatouille
I apologize in advance for how itemized this is but this movie just irritated me.

I'm not a snob with Pixar movies. I expect animation to have some disjointed problems, especially when its designed for children. Pixar consistently delivers well beyond all expectations in every regard. But this sucks.

It has the leftovers from the Coco story smashed together with funky animations recycled from the ephemeral soul-givers in Soul and the bad facial animation for Cars. It's annoyingly basic and the transitions from human to mermaid look terrible.

All of the characters look good in only one state. The animators clearly didn't take care with both forms and prioritized whichever one the character spent most of the movie in. This is a problem because our main characters look awful as merpeople. They take up so much of the center stage that its eye gauging to look at.

The 'villain' is really bad. He isn't one and his existence has no effect on the story. He isn't boring like Anton Ego was in Ratatouille but he's more annoying than the mustache guy from Cars. In Ratatouille, Ego was the end all be all for a restaurant so he had meaning to him. In cars, Mustache man was the rival. Luca's villains calling card is that he's an older teenager with an ugly vespa who bullies children in a race. I'm quaking in diapers just thinking about it!

I wouldn't recommend this unless you're like me and will watch any animated movie. It really just sucks and its the culmination of so many sub par Pixar films in a row.

I loved this movie! My 6 year old not so much
I loved watching this and I could watch it again and again and again, I loved the concept and it was bright with good music which we all love! It addresses hope fears dreams friendship insecurities and achievements and also delicatly touches on mental health awareness.....however it just didn't capture her as it did me and she wasn't interesting in watching it again. Worth a watch.

    Very cute!
This film was so cute, I will probably be rewatching this multiple times! I was a cute story of friendship and how it can change and grow. The characters are well written and the story is paced well too.
