A young botanist relocates to a small desert town to study an invasive plant species. While out on research, she comes to the aid of a downed plane only to find herself taken captive by an inexperienced drug mule who forces her to lead a trek across the sweltering desert to his drop. Realistic.
This is like the environment I work in, you think no one is there but you will encounter the bad guys traficking drugs or persons, it happens everyday here at the Border. The movie is low budget so don't expect good acting. Overall, it's a movie that tell the story and it's not bad. I didn't feel I wasted my money, rather than that I enjoyed it. Don't judge it if you are from the city, for me that I live and work at the Border it's good enough. What it surprised me is that a Sheriff that works in this environment did not have a long weapon, even in the big cities they carry one. There is a lot of drugs in these remote areas even when you do not see people or vehicles.

    Nice visuals, lame story
If you think about it, Elly is like the one who caused trouble for all of them. Tomas ends up dying because of Elly being the witness. Alex and her father nearly dies because of Elly.

If Elly wasn't there at all. They would all have turned out to be okay.

Grade School, less than B Real.
Who writers this crap? Obtain law enforcement guidance. Get second opinion. Ask for help on dialog. The only thing halfway good about this movie is the music.
