    Enjoyable for a watch
It was enjoyable for a watch because I'm a fan of the actors in the movie and enjoyed their performance. Some will like and some will not. There are a lot of obvious issues with things in the movie and yes a lot is wrong and really this obviously does not depict a real train scenario. Get past the obvious and enjoy it for what it is and it is fun enjoyable dumbness. None of it makes sense, but it's not supposed too. If you need realistic movie, then this is not for you. If you just want something fun to watch then this is it. Turn off your brain for 2 hours and enjoy. Don't try to figure out all the characters and stories as this movie doesn't try very hard to fill in the gaps. Just take it for what it is. A dumb fun movie.

    Guy Ritchie lite
I've barely seen a movie more intent on mimicking the style of guy Richie... And while it's not fully successful its slightly B level variance of the insanely over edited action comedy does a good job at entertaining. The complex premise is fun to parse out: a variety of different assassins are on the same train with slightly different goals, but all chasing the same briefcase. If there weren't so much blood and cursing, it could be a remake of what's up, Doc. A lot of backstory and character work is done by the talented cast, which includes Brad Pitt, Joey, King, Brian, Tyree Henry, Aaron Taylor Johnson, and Bad Bunny. On the big sweeping parts, it's succeeds, but it's in the margins, the details of how tightly it's edited and how well the plot is developed that it comes up a little short.

    Hilariously fun action movie
I swear, I thought Taika Waititi directed this movie. It's as if he directed Kill Bill and put all these different assassins on a speeding train in Japan. The acting was EXCELLENT. Punchlines even funnier. Found out it was the same director as Deadpool, which makes sense given the humor, graphic violence, and cameo of Ryan Reynolds as Carver.

Joey King...you're brilliant. You can pass as a young, sweet, innocent looking girl with an appetite to kill. Brad Pitt - no joke, he eats a snack in every single action movie I've seen - and the director made sure he did so here. I was fascinated with your "Ladybug" alias and cracked up when the Elder explained that the lady bug is "not so lucky" because the black spots indicate the seven sorrows of the world. Your response? (Typical one would be fascination and intrigue, but no...not you). "I don't want to carry all that sorrow!" 😂 Such awesome delivery.

Everyone else was just awesome. Especially the Twins and the stupid Thomas the Train analogies. Love you, Lemon. And RIP Tangerine.

And the deaths of the Wolf and the Son were just hilarious. Hornet's death? IRONIC.

Brilliant writing, acting, and delivery. My teens, husband, and I were all cracking up while screaming during the fight scenes. And that slow-mo train wreck? (LITERALLY a train wreck!) That was a masterpiece!

    Fun and random
The movie felt a little disjointed but it was still really fun and entertaining. It reminded me of a Guy Ritchie film (think The Gentlemen and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) with a little Kill Bill Tarantino sprinkled in. It has an all star cast including random cameos so, nice surprises.

Overall though it felt a little like they were trying a little too hard. Some of the funniest moments were a laugh at how dumb or predicable it was. My friend and I saw it on a girls night out so our expectations weren't high and that's what I advise. Have fun, don't think too hard and don't expect to be blown away :)

    Seriously entertaining dude
If you are the type to watch this sort of movie you'll love Bullet Train. It's full of action with a twisted sense of humour and the acting is top notch. A lot of action movies suffer in the storyline department, but not this one. They took the time for some real character development, which is especially impressive considering the fact that it's an ensemble cast. I'm honestly not sure how they managed it while still keeping up this level of action and without making the movie feel too long. The only the thing that could have improved it in my opinion is more screen time for Logan Lerman. Such a talented man. (And I loved his Russian accent.)

    Brilliant and hilarious adventure
I watched this amazing comedy on Netflix over the holidays, and I gotta say, it's become a cult favorite for me. I didn't know much about this film and didn't realize it was even going to be a comedy until Brad stepped in the puddle. Watched it first with my daughter who is not a fan of action or gore, and she loved it and nearly died laughing. She understands Japanese and liked that some of the dialogue was in Japanese (plus Spanish and Russian...what fun). Same enjoyment when I watched again with my husband and son. Takes a lot now to wow my son, and he thought it was the best movie he has seen in a long time. I think it's Brad Pitt's best role in a long time...maybe of all time? Loved the intricate plot lines, brilliant dialogue, intertwined themes of martial arts, trains, and psychology, and well choreographed slapstick comedy. The cast did an amazing job with this insane set of characters, especially all the fight scenes and discussions of Thomas and friends. Bravo!

Jerry Welbach grows up to be in Bullet Train
After marrying Sam and things not working out, of course, Jerry Welbach continues his hapless path. He becomes an assassin in an organization of killers and thieves and after a nervous breakdown and some much needed therapy ends up on a high speed train to retrieve a case under the watchful eye of his handler Maria. You'll wonder who is double crossing whom and whether this was Tarantino rip-off of an Asian action flick minus the tricky dialog with loads of explanatory, explosive flashbacks. Regardless, this is a fun thrill ride that barely makes sense but you can't help cheering for Jerry the whole ride!

    Rubbish
This was completely rubbish. I'm just amazed people are giving this 9s and 10s. They are calling this garbage of a film "masterpiece", "best of 2022" "amazing movie"...you've got to be kidding me! This was diabolical, silly, non-sense with no plot or story. In the first 3 mins when the main actor started to talk I knew this was going to be bad. The fact that they have so many great actors in this and it was just a complete money grab waste. Complete waste of 2 plus hours... yes I know I will get thumbs down for this review but for the few folks who have a brain, please don't watch this. It's so juvenile, the jokes are NOT funny, the so-called "quick-witted, one liners and zingers" doesn't make sense. It's like a force laugh.

Personally I didn't want to watch this but I was outvoted 10-1...those 10 people ended up falling asleep and I was the only one left in the misery of watching this donkey's rear of a film.

I'm not going spoil the film but this is just bad all the way around. This is why I have giving up on Hollywood and now focus on foreign films. Please heed my review and don't waste your time. It's like a bunch of man children and a silly grown woman pretended to be a kid on a train.

From start to finish is just poor, not 1 second of quality. The masterpiece of trash and brilliantly dumb for sure.

    A Fun Watch!
I really did not know what to expect going into this movie I even put off watching Bullet Train for a interesting documentary. But for a lack of entertainment one night my wife and I decided to give it a peep and I have to say it was very interesting entertaining and fun ride. I really enjoyed this film as it kept me guessing and also laughing making it a fun watch. The acting was solid the story line was interesting. The twist and turns made the movie very watchable and well worth the hype. Lots of interesting characters bringing their own flavor to the film is what did it for me. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to watch a film and walk away satisfied with a smile.
