A trash fire starring aging and irrelevant "Rockstars".
Where to even start with this trash fire? It feels like someone gave a edgy 14 year old way too much money and access to aging and irrelevant "rockstars" to star in a script that would rightfully get laughed out of any writing class worth any merit. The acting from the leads makes tommy wiseau look like Daniel day lewis. If you're one of the people who found themselves enjoying this in any way then I'm sorry to tell you that you're mentally handicapped and you should have your license revoked, your taste is god awful and your opinions are worse. This movie sucks that bad.......................

    Disappointed.
It's bad. It can't figure out which movie genre it is. It has pop star metal bands in it...ooOoOOO.

I mean it does feel like a Five Finger Cover Punch video that runs too long as usual. Zoltan is probably the only decent one in the band that could act if he wanted to.

Also how does the only real star in the movie Robert "Tea-Bag" Knepper not get credited in the main cast. Oh that's right, he only had 10 minutes in a movie that took forever to end.

Evil Dead gore random!y, thriller parts randomly, jumps around randomly like its Memento or Pulp Fiction, it fails.

There are worse movies out there, but this is a bad offering.

Bloody, gory, and one hell of a ride
This movie was so worth the year long wait as it made its way through the festival circuit). Saw it in theaters and immediately bought the digital version when it was released. For too long horror movies have been far too clean. It this one. I loved the creative kills and massive amounts of blood and gore. That final kill was insanely fun. The cast was phenomenal and the cameos from some of the best names in rock and metal (including Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, The Hu, and Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach) really pushed it over the edge. There were so many moments of heart stopping trepidation and anticipation. The soundtrack is also amazing with a who's who of collaborations .

    An Instant Horror Classic!
After all the production issues this film had to go through bc of the pandemic, The Retaliators finally arrived in theaters back in September and VOD this October just in time for Halloween... AND IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! Amazing performances from everyone (especially Michael Lombardi as Pastor Bishop), loaded with Metal music cameos galore from Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills to Jacoby Shaddix, extremely impressive gore reminiscent of Evil Dead, fantastic characters that're more deep and complex than most in this genre, excellent cinematography, top notch complex writing that does a fantastic job fleshing out every character, some of the best scares in any horror film in at least the past 5 years, and all topped off with one of the best movie soundtracks ever created!

It may have taken a while to get released, but The Retaliators is a dark and violent revenge-movie that is a MUST-SEE for any Horror fan this October! Especially gorehounds!

It's also a MUST-SEE every December as well bc the film does take place during Christmas! The first since Nightmare Before Christmas to achieve this feat!

I cannot reccommend this movie highly enough! It is THE best horror movie of 2022!

    Best
Probably my favorite action/horror/thriller movie this year. The soundtrack was amazing as well with it including bands like Motley Crue, Papa Roach, The HU, From Ashes to New, Bad Wolves, Five Finger Death Punch, Asking Alexandria, Nothing More, and All The Good Things. Honestly I went in with no expectations but left really loving this movie. Will definitely be watching again when it comes out on bluray/dvd/digital. The two year wait for this movie was definitely worth it. The beginning was good and confusing but loops around to explaining what was going on. Movie is really gory though but that is what makes it so good.
