It's a neigh to neck for good and great
Join up, join me up.. let us review this movie together!!

Sypnosis: it's about an orphan girl who's staying on her deadbeat father's house after a disaster at her grandpa's house. She then met a horse and then the story starts there

Pros: it's a good animation cartoon for kids and a good made character of a protagonist of a female (imo)... got a catchy song, some weird but kinda work setting.. and surprisingly not a bad ending. My first thought is another feminism bulls after the introduction of the side character but nahh, it's better than a new ghostbuster imo.

Cons: fall off jokes, animation kinda sucked considering it's from dreamwork. Dreamwork always set the bar high but this ain't it chief. The whole story feels rushed.. making the character a young girl on a journey kinda stvpid and there's this weird intimate feelings between the horse and the mc? Idk but it's just weird imo. The character kinda cringe, especially the antagonist.. it's supposed to be a flop but idk, I'm weird like that

Overall, it's a c rating movie, not triple A shii... feels like a project for an intern imo... recommended to watch it alone or with close friends. You do you.

This should NOT have been 3D animated. This should NOT have been made.
This is just awful. Not only is it 3D animated, but its done on tight budget. Watching it I had only glimpses of proper animation, while most of the show gave me very strong "barbie movie" vibes. Also character models feel warped and plastic. And finally the environment/scenes. They feel empty. Almost never you see the "space". Like DW really tries not to spend even half a dime more than they can get away with. It's just bad.

Sigh. Don't watch it.. unless you have 10-11 yo bored daugher/niece. This movie literally preys on that audience. Everyone else: avoid like plague.

    Quite entertaining animated tale.
A young girl lost her mother years earlier in a horse riding accident. When that happened she was sent to the city to be raised by her aunt and granddad, a big-time politician. However being too precocious for the city life at about 11 or 12 she and her aunt travel by train to reunite with her dad. Along the way the girl sees a family of wild horses running alongside and behind the train.

Later in the rustic town the girl is reunited with the horses as thieves try to capture them. With a lot of patience and persistence the girl finally gets the one horse, she names it Spirit, to accept her. From there they get involved in unbelievable adventures along with two other young girls and their horses. In the end they have to go on an unauthorized adventure to help capture the crooks.

The animation is very pleasant and the voice acting appropriate. A nicely enjoyable lightweight animated movie. I don't understand the several very harsh reviews, it is just a pleasant movie.

At home on DVD from my public library, my wife was on the golf course experiencing her own unique adventure.
