Surprised by how bad it is.
If I hadn't been watching this movie with friends I genuinely would not have been able to finish it. I know this movie is supposed to be pornography with plot but I've seen pornography with a more compelling plot than this. I've seen pornography with more compelling characters than this. There is nothing this movie does to make you feel anything for a single one of the characters except for frustration. The main character is by far the most bizarre main character I've come across in a movie, she is kidnapped and given 365 days to fall in love with her kidnapper, and !!spoilers!! She falls in love what feels like instantly. He told her he would not touch her without her consent and proceeded to touch her without her consent multiple times and somehow, somehow she just falls head over heals for this guy! I understand it's all fantasy but we have no idea what's going on in her head to make her reach that "I love him!!" moment, iirc there is one part in the movie where her best friend is like oh em gee gurlfriend u cant date a gangsta! And apart from that it is completely brushed over. !!spoilers over!!
While I understand that it is not trying to be anything incredible, I feel like if you're making a movie, even if its a porn movie, the movie's story and characters should be of better quality. If they're not, what's stopping you from just watching regular porn instead?
There is so much wrong with this movie that I don't even know if I could point out a scene I enjoyed. Every single thing that happens in this entire movie is flawed in a huge way and I don't think it succeeded in anything apart from being a terrible movie. It takes a lot for me to think anything is a 1/10 but this. This is a 1/10.
