    True story 100x better
I have been a huge fan of the ESPN feature since it came out years ago . I love a good sports movie and I had been excited to see this . I do understand some creative liberties had to be taken to move the story along - but a lot of it was so far fetched that it took away from the true spirit of the dog and the story !

The writing was very cheesy and much of the movie seemed forced . The extra drama added from the rivalry and perspective changes for the main character were just too much .

Entertaining though and can't fault a story that involves a dog and sports and the DR. Skip this and watch the SC original instead - free and 14 min long and incredible .

    Great and poignant drama
This incredible, but true, story, is definitely conveyed exceptionally well by this great director and great cast, among them Mark Wahlberg, Nathalie Emanuel among others.

I had the pleasure to meet the true man behind the novel and true events, and it is indeed an interesting story, that is conveyed very well by these splendid actors, very emotional, human and career defining. Accompined by a stellar script, very great mix of drama and some riveting and fast paced action scenes, without losing focus, expertly paced and written indeed. It jumps right into the plot exceptionally and riveting.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is splendid, very fluid and in tone with the film and director's style. Very beautifully put together.

Overall, definitely an incredible film that is definitely highly recommended! Great love letter to the bond between human and dog.

Great acting from both Mark and the dog
First of all, the dogs the cutest, The movie is really well directed and the cast did very well to be on their A game, I thought Mark played really well in this movie, its really cool how they found the same dog breed as the real Arthur, who can ALSO ACT!! Amazing. My first initial thoughts were that this movie was not gonna represent all the facts, its going to sweeten the tone a little, or add any unnecessary drama but to my surprise they kept to the facts REALLY well! In my opinion this has to be a good candidate for the 2024 Oscars and Mark deserves the best actor nominee, at least for now.
