A young Sardar Udham Singh left deeply scarred by the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, escaped into the mountains of Afghanistan, reaching London in 1933-34. Carrying an unhealed wound for 21 years, the revolutionary assassinated Michael O’Dwyer on 13th March, 1940, the man at the helm of affairs in Punjab, April 1919 to avenge the lost lives of his beloved brethren.

Totally wrong information!!!
Indian directors are so lazy that they don't want to read history books!!! Bhagat Singh never met Udham Singh ever!!!! Not even a single verified report to support such claim as shown in this movie . So much inaccurate information. I don't even know where to start. There is not even accurate information whether they were ever put in same jail. There are some freedom fighters of India that we do not have information about them which unfortunately includes Shaheed Udham Singh but Indian Directors try to add some 'Masala' just to make a 2-3 hour movie. They add a title 'Based on true events' just to attract audience. It's so sad when I watch such kind of cinema. I request people to please read about Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and you will observe discrepancies in the events shown in Shaheed's Udham Singh so called true movie. People who do not have time to read will believe that some of the events are true. Directors' should let people know that they add their own stuff.
Just agree that we do not have much information about Udham Singh. I want to let people know that Udham Singh's family financial conditions are very bad. His grand kids are doing labor work. I wish Government has done something for them because our Freedom Fighters died fighting for this country leaving their families aside. Now it's our duty to support them.
